Message from the Board

Mother Teresa once said, “Be kind and merciful. Let no one ever come to you without coming away better and happier.”

On behalf of the Board of Directors, management and volunteers of Stg. Building Bridges…Saving Lives (SBBSL), we would like to thank our donors, business partners, affiliates, communities, and supporters in all sectors for your trust and support. As SBBSL works towards empowerment and inclusion of migrant women and girls in Suriname. By campaigning for their basic rights irrespective of their social status, and integrating climate change issues that directly affect migrant populations.

As director of SBBSL, I strongly believe that it’s our duty and responsibility to give back to society in which we live. SBBSL as an organisation firmly believes in “No women or girl left behind” attitude, our quest is to serve these women with sincerity and honesty.

As such the back bone and driving force of SBBSL is our sponsors, volunteers and all supporters including well wishers who have supported SBBSL in many different ways. We wish you protection from the spread of Covid-19 so that we can continue to move forward together.

Best Wishes & Regards
